BRUSSELS (AA) - The EU Heads of State and Government Summit has started in Brussels.
EU heads of state and government will meet at a working dinner while EU foreign ministers will come together at a separate dinner.
During the working dinner, EU heads of state and government will seek compromise on most important parts of expressions regarding Turkey in the final declaration of the summit.
They will decide whether or not to open entry talks with Turkey, date for opening of entry talks, and methods and target of talks process.
EU Presidency is expected to hold a news conference following the dinner.
National delegations of the EU member states will also hold news conferences.
On Friday, representatives of the EU member countries will meet candidate countries (Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania and Croatia) after official release of the final declaration.
Besides enlargement process, fight against terrorism will be high on agenda at the EU Summit.
