Italian gunman kills two people in Zurich bar fight: police

ZURICH, Dec 16 (AFP) - An Italian man shot dead a Swiss woman and a Swiss man at a bar in Zurich on Thursday afternoon, a police spokesman said.
The female victim was 32 and the man 37, the spokesman told AFP.
"The killer, was an Italian, aged 44," he said, without giving further details about why the shooting broke out or whether the gunman had been arrested.
"The incident took place a few minutes after 5:00 pm (1600 GMT)," he said.
No one else has been injured, added the police spokesman.
An earlier report had said that several people had also been hurt in the shooting.
The Swiss new agency ATS said that the dead woman was the owner of the bar and the other victim had been a client.
