E.P. Rejects Amendment Motion Proposing Special Partnership Status To Turkey Instead Of Full Membership

STRASBOURG (AA) - European Parliament on Wednesday rejected an amendment motion recommending special partnership status to Turkey instead of full membership.
     In a voting held in EP General Assembly, the amendment motion opposing Turkey's membership was rejected.
     European Parliament also rejected another amendment motion demanding Turkey to recognize so-called Armenian genocide to start entry talks.
