Koruturk Receives Iraqi Sunnite Foundations Council Delegation

ANKARA (AA) - Osman Koruturk, Turkish representative in Iraq, received a delegation from Iraqi Sunnite Foundations Council on Wednesday.
     Koruturk told reporters after the meeting, ''Turkey is closely following the developments in Iraq.''
     ''We are exerting efforts to restore normal conditions in Iraq rapidly. Thus, we are in contact with every group which is important in Iraq,'' he added.
     Koruturk said, ''within that scope, we have met members of Foundations Council which has a serious influence over Sunnite society in Iraq, and the aim of the meeting was to exchange views.''
