Police said on Monday that at least 15 were killed in three days of political violence in Pakistan's Karachi city.
Street fight broke out between the Sinds and Pashtuns in the Oragni region of the Pakistan's biggest city, where 13 others were wounded.
Officials said that street writing by Sinds in a district mostly populated by the Pashtuns flamed the clashes.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), which dominates Karachi, and the ethnic Pashtun ANP are in a coalition led by President Asıf Ali Zardari.
The leader of the Pashtuns living in Karachi called on the police to increase security measures, claiming that the innocent people were targeted.
About 67 have been killed in the political violence in Karachi since the start of 2010.
