Ankara Republican Prosecutor opens an investigation on Ahmet Türk

Ankara Republican Prosecutor has launched an investigation on Ahmet Türk, about the statements he made after a meeting with former members of the closed DTP, Democratic Society Party.

The investigation launched by the Bureau on Media Crimes will be conducted in the context of charges like "praising the crime and the criminal", and "provoking people to hate and hostility".

Following the meeting of BDP, Peace and Democracy Party and Party Assembly members of the closed-DTP, Democratic Society Party, Ahmet Türk made a statement, in which he said Imrali prisoner terrorist leader Öcalan told them through his lawyers that resigning from the parliament was not the right move.
