An earthquake of 5,4 magnitude hit the Mediterranean coast on Tuesday at 06:06 UTC, according to Kandilli Observatory Earthquake Research Center.
There was no immediate report of loss of life or material damage in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The impact of the earthquake was also apparent in Turkey's coastal city of Antalya.
