COPENHAGEN - Turkish President Abdullah Gul met with his Israeli counterpart Shimon Peres in the Danish capital of Copenhagen on Friday.
The two leaders met on the sidelines of a summit of the heads of state and government of the 15th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP15).
The meeting went on behind closed doors. No statements were made afterwards.
Sources have said the meeting was held on the request of the Israeli side.
