Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak arrived in Turkey on December 15 to meet Turkish President Abdullah Gül and hold official contacts.
President Gül welcomed his Egyptian counterpart at the Presidential Palace with an official ceremony in the afternoon.
Following bilateral talks, the two Presidents chaired interdelegational contacts.
Guest President Mubarak will be received by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the evening hours.
Bilateral relations and developments in the Middle East as well as regional and international issues that concern both states will be high on the agenda during Mubarak's visit to Turkey.
Mubarak will leave Turkey on Thursday.
