Deputies of the Democratic Society Party (DTP) decided on a de facto withdrawal from the parliament after the Constitutional Court voted on Friday to ban the political party, finding it guilty of cooperating with the terrorist organization.
"From this day, we are withdrawing from parliament. We will not participate in any parliamentary meeting or events," Ahmet Türk told a news conference.
The DTP leader said also that they are firm on their previously made statements.
Meanwhile, the son of the DTP leader has started to pay his military service on Saturday.
