MUNICH, Germany, Dec 6 (AFP) - German engineering conglomerate MAN said Monday it had signed an agreement with US truck maker Navistar to cooperate in the manufacture of components and diesel engines, as well as joint purchasing activities.
Financial details were not disclosed. But the head of MAN's trucks division, Hakan Samuelsson, said the tie-up would "create substantial synergies, advantages and flexibility" for the two companies.
