Bagis says a new EU strategy to come

State Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis said that relations with the EU will continue in the framework of a new and day to day working strategy.

Speaking at the Parliament Planning and Budget Commission during the discussion on EU General Secretariat budget, Bagis said that they aim to start implementing the new European Union strategy in January 2010.

Bagis said that the first point of the strategy will be to continue negotiations process on official grounds while the second point will be the determination of the 2010-2013 calendar for the National Program and Acquis Communitaire Adaptation Program.

As the third point, Bagis hinted to political criteria and political reforms and said that finally these points should be supported with a strong communication strategy.
