ANKARA - Turkish Deputy Premier & government spokesman Cemil Cicek said that Council of Ministers discussed amendment on several articles of Turkish Penal Code (TCK) during its meeting on Monday.

Holding a press conference after Council of Ministers meeting, Cicek said that they discussed the draft law which envisaged amendment on several articles of TCK.

He said that the articles they discussed were on privacy of communication, tapping and recording talks between people, violation of privacy, and violation of privacy of investigation.

Cicek said that they would make arrangements on those articles and increase the penalties.

Spokesman Cicek said that they also discussed Turkey-EU relations in the meeting.
