Palestinian President Abbas To Visit Turkey

TEL AVIV - President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine will pay a formal visit to Turkey on July 16.

President Abbas is set to meet with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Ankara on July 17.

The Middle East peace process will be high on agenda of his talks.

Abbas will proceed to Turkey from Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh after attending the meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement.
