ANKARA, Dec 2 (AFP) - Two sailors drowned and two others were missing off Turkey's southern coast Thursday after their freighter sank, the Anatolia news agency reported.
The sole survivor of the five-man crew told the authorities that the vessel sank off the resort town of Fethiye for unknown reasons.
He said he managed to swim to a small island after the dinghy on which the five sailors abandoned the sinking ship capsized.
Rescue teams discovered the bodies of two of the sailors washed ashore near Fethiye, Anatolia reported.
A search was under way for the other two.
