The Platform for the Condemnation of the European Court of Justice's (ECJ) Decision on the Orams Case prepares for a solidarity action on the 9th of June.
The Platform strongly condemns the ECJ's decision as unjust and says this is in the interest of all people living in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus who enjoy their gained rights. In order to draw attention to the need for realizing how the existence and rights of Turkish Cypriots have come under threat, the Platform prepares for an action on Tuesday which will be joined by a simultaneous action to be held in the UK.
The London-based group the Embargoed is also organizing a signature campaign for a memorandum to be presented to the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown on the same day.
