BINGOL - The Turkish prime minister said on Saturday that the government wanted terrorism to end.
Turkey's Prime Minsiter Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the government also wanted the bloodshed to end.
"We do not want to see young people to die and be buried from now on, and it is right to see that terrorism is a dead end and get away from this wrong path," Erdogan said during a meeting of his Justice & Development (AK) Party in the eastern province of Bingol.
The prime minister said terrorism and violence could serve no causes, and no right could be gained by eliminating the right to live, the most fundamental right of every one.
"Our government has always favored a solution (regarding terrorism), some problems may not have a definite solution but what is important is to launch solution process and exert sincere efforts," he said.
Erdogan also said that the government was determined to end the bloodshed and restore peace and stability in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions.
The prime minister said that he did not want to experience more agonies, and his government was fighting against the mentality that associated all citizens of Kurdish origin with terrorism.
Erdogan said some circles wanted to hamper the solution process by aiming at the security forces with mine blasts and heinous attacks.
Also, Erdogan called for unity and solidarity in his speech at the AK Party meeting.
