Besiktas Becomes Champion Of Turkcell Super League

ANKARA - Turkish soccer team Besiktas became the champion in Super League's 2008-2009 season. The championship deadlock was finally solved with a game played in the western province of Denizli. Defeating Denizlispor 2-1, Besiktas became the champion again after 5 years. Moreover, Mustafa Denizli became "the first Turkish coach" that helped Besiktas get the championship.

Milan Baros of Galatasaray became the top goal scorer with 20 goals.
