ANKARA (A.A) - 29.05.2009 - The Turkish prime minister received a U.S. senator in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Friday.
Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a meeting with Robert Casey, the chairman of the Sub-committee on Near Eastern and South and Central Asian Affairs of the U.S. Senate, at the Prime Ministry Residence.
The meeting was behind closed doors.
Turkey-U.S. relations were discussed during Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's meeting with a U.S. senator in Ankara on Friday.
Erdogan received Robert Casey, the chairman of the Sub-committee on Near Eastern and South and Central Asian Affairs of the U.S. Senate, at the Prime Ministry Residence, and they took up Turkey-U.S. relations as well as regional matters especially the Middle East issue.
Turkish Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Murat Mercan also attended the meeting.
