KIEV, Nov 30 (AFP) - Ukraine's Supreme Court suspended its deliberations Tuesday into allegations of ballot fraud in the disputed November 21 election without making a ruling, as opposition rallies raged on for a ninth day.
Judges said they would resume hearings Wednesday morning at 10:00 am (0800 GMT) into claims by pro-Western opposition leader Viktor Yushchenko that the election was stolen from him by widespread ballot fraud.
Yushchenko wants the court, which began hearing the appeal on Monday, to annul the results handing victory to pro-Russia Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich, and he wants new polls.
