BOCHUM, Germany, Nov 27 (AFP) - Bundesliga side VfL Bochum have finalised the signing of Turkish international Fatih Aykel with the defender joining the club in January 2005.
Fenerbahce agreed to cancel the contract of Aykel, 26, and the player will join up with his new Bochum team-mates on January 1 2005.
Aykel was part of the Turkey team that reached the 2002 World Cup semi-finals before losing to eventual winners Brazil.
