EDIRNE (AA) - Turkish gendarmery arrested 90 illegal migrants in northwestern city of Edirne, sources said on Wednesday.
Sources said gendarmery forces captured 20 Iraqis, 16 Pakistanis, 12 Syrians, 10 Iranians, six Bangladeshis, six Algerians, four Somalians, four Tunisians, three Palestinians, two Moroccans, and one Mauritanian in Edirne's Meric and Ipsala towns who entered Turkey illegally.
The sources added that the illegal migrants would be deported once legal proceedings were completed.
