ANKARA (AA) - Foreign Minister Ferenc Somogyi of Hungary will come to Turkey on November 28th as the official guest of Turkish Foreign Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Wednesday that Somogyi would start his program in Ankara on November 29th by visiting the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Great Founder of modern and secular Republic of Turkey.
Later, Gul and Somogyi will preside meetings between Turkish and Hungarian delegations.
Somogyi will be received by Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc the same day.
Besides the bilateral relations between Turkey and Hungary, recent international and regional developments will be high on agenda of Somogyi's scheduled talks in Ankara.
''Mr. Somogyi's talks will enable Turkish officials to exchange views over Turkey-the EU relations, and to explain Turkey's views about the European Commission's progress report and recommendatory decision dated October 6th, 2004, and our expectations from the upcoming EU Summit on December 17th,'' the ministry added.
