AMMAN, Nov 24 (AFP) - Jordanian security services have arrested a brother-in-law of Iraq's most-wanted man, Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi, for the second time in four months, a source close to his family said Wednesday.
Salah al-Hami was apprehended late Monday and is still under arrest, said the source who was unable to say why he had been detained.
On Tuesday, newspapers said Jordan's state security court had given Zarqawi 10 days to give himself up to face trial and a possible death sentence or be classed as a fugitive.
In his absence, the Jordanian-born militant was sentenced to death over the killing of a US diplomat in October 2002.
In Iraq, where he is seen as the frontman for the Al-Qaeda network, Washington has blamed Zarqawi for some of the deadliest attacks and beheadings of foreign hostages. He has a 25 million dollar US bounty on his head.
