Third European Defense Congress Starts In Berlin

BERLIN (AA) - The Third European Defense Congress started in German capital Berlin on Tuesday.
     National Defense Minister Vecdi Gonul will represent Turkey at the congress.
     Replying to questions of journalists prior to the meeting, Gonul said, ''I will deliver a speech on 'Cooperation and Integration between NATO and EU Forces' during the congress. As you know, the EU will establish its own defense system. I will underline the importance of the role of Turkey in preserving the security of Europe.''
