Istanbul And Ankara Police Chiefs In Beijing

BEIJING (AA) - A seminar titled ''cooperation in fight against international terrorism and cross-border crimes and cooperation in providing public security'' has begun in Beijing under the sponsorship of the Beijing Security Directorate.
     Turkey is represented by Ankara and Istanbul police chiefs Ercument Yilmaz and Celalettin Cerrah respectively. Other countries participating in the seminar are China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
     The opening speech of the seminar was delivered by Beijing Head of Security Directorate Ma Zhenquan.
     The seminar will end tomorrow. A memorandum of understanding will be signed by the participants.
