ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Justice Minister and Government Spokesman Cemil Cicek said on Monday that it has been recorded in the Progress Report that Turkey met political criteria of the European Union (EU). He said, ''they do not have the right to make demands from us from now on. This will be discrimination.''
Cicek replied to questions of reporters after Council of Ministers meeting.
Asked if withdrawal of Turkish soldiers from Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and recognition of southern Cyprus would be on the agenda apart from the legal arrangements that would be made till December 17th, Cicek said, ''we have no such issue.''
Cicek said Turkey's road map was ''Progress Report'', ''Influence Assessment Report'' and ''Recommendatory Decision,'' stating that they focused on what have been told in those reports.
Cicek wanted journalists to make contribution to the EU process with their questions and articles.
