WASHINGTON, Nov 20 (AFP) - Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin are set to sell 7.2 million shares each in the next 18 months in a move that could net them 1.2 billion dollars apiece.
The Internet search engine firm disclosed the plans of the founders, aged 31, in documents submitted Friday to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Google CEO Eric Schmidt also said he planned to sell 2.2 million shares, which should net him more than 370 million dollars based on Google's closing price Friday of 169.40 dollars.
The stock hit the market at 85 dollars a share and rose as high as 201 dollars before moving lower.
