BERLIN (AFP) - Growth of the German economy, the biggest in the 12-country eurozone, is expected to slow to just 1.4 percent next year from 1.8 percent expected this year, the government's so-called "Five Wise Men" panel of independent economic advisors forecast.
The new updated prognosis, published Wednesday in the panel's regular autumn report, is much slower than the official growth forecast of 1.7 percent being pencilled in by the German goverment next year.
