ANKARA - Two Turkish crew members of "Marshallese-flagged" Turkish ship Aleyna Mercan, who were taken hostage by a group of buccaneers off Nigerian port of Onne on April 20, have been released on Wednesday.
Diplomatic sources said that Captain Sinan Taskiran and second engineer Salim Attila Sengul were released today and have been taken to their ship.
Both crew members are in a good health condition, diplomatic sources also said.
