ISTANBUL - A group of demonstrators on Monday hung with ropes from the Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul to call the US President Barack Obama, who is in Turkey for official talks, for "save the climate for peace."
Members of the environmental group Greenpeace hung down banners, which were Obama's picture and "save the climate for peace" written in English, Turkish and Arabic on it, from one of the two bridges of Istanbul.
Three Greenpeace activists hung down with ropes in order to open their banner from the bridge, which is the 64 meters high from sea level.
