ISTANBUL - Indian children attending City Montessori Schools commemorated Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Great Founder of modern and secular Republic of Turkey, on the 66th anniversary of his demise.
Kalite Schools Director General Hayal Koksal told the A.A correspondent on Saturday, ''we have bilateral relations with City Montessori Schools in Lucknow city of India. City Montessori Schools Head Teacher Dr. Vineeta Kamran paid a visit to Turkey in September. He was impressed with Ataturk's life and reforms.''
''Dr. Kamran told us that he would talk about Ataturk to his students. City Montessori Schools organized 'Ataturk Week' between November 10th and 17th. They commemorated Ataturk on the 66th anniversary of his demise. Turkish Ambassador to India Hasan Gogus was also in attendance at the commemoration ceremony. We will invite a group of students of City Montessori Schools to April 23 Children Festival next year,'' he added.
