Greenpeace Demonstration On Bosphorus Bridge

ISTANBUL - Turkish police in Istanbul detained 18 Greenpeace activists after they held an illegal demonstration on the Bosphorus Bridge on Monday.
The Greenpeace members unfurled a huge banner reading "Bail out the Climate for Peace" and wanted to chain themselves to the bridge.

The demonstrators also unfurled a poster of the U.S. President Barack Obama with a message to him saying "lead the change on climate".

The Greenpeace activists wanted Obama to keep his campaign promise and fight against climate change and lead the world community in this matter.
