BURSA - Exports by Turkish automotive sector reduced 53.8 percent to 3.73 billion USD in the January-March period of the year.
The Uludag Association of Exporters based in the northwestern province of Bursa told the A.A on Monday that exports by the sector to 100 out of 149 countries dropped in the first three months of 2008.

While exports to France, Italy, Germany and Britain fell, exports to Belgium, Malta, the United Arab Emirates, Syria and Iraq increased in the first quarter.

The sector exported automotive to 149 countries and autonomous regions as well as 12 free trade zones in this period.
