LONDON (AFP) - English Premiership side Fulham lost their High Court legal dispute with former manager Jean Tigana.
Tigana, the former France international midfielder, took the club to court over accusations that he effectively continued to operate as a players' agent while he was in charge of the club.
Fulham terminated his contract in April 2003, and since then have been locked in a legal battle with Tigana, who claims unfair dismissal.
The club, owned by multi-millionaire Harrods owner Mohamed Al Fayed, were understood to be unhappy with the way Tigana handled certain transfers, especially the 11.5 million pound (21 million dollar) deal which brought Steve Marlet to Fulham from Lyon.
