Filipino Foreign Minister Visits Local Chamber In Western Turkey

IZMIR - The Filipino foreign minister visited a local vocational chamber in western Turkey on Tuesday.
Secretary of Foreign Affairs Alberto Romulo of the Philippines paid a visit to the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO) in the western province of Izmir.

Romulo is actually in Turkey as the guest of Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan.

"My country can make use of Turkey's experiences in hosting European tourists," Romulo said during his meeting with members of EBSO.

Romulo said that he would brief representatives of commercial and industrial organizations in his country about the cooperation opportunities in Turkey.

The foreign secretary also said two countries could cooperate particularly in tourism. (BRC-UK)
