LYON - A Turkish businessmen from Yozgat city claimed the cultural heritage of renown French playwright Moliere in Lyon.
Hamza Dinc, purchased the historic site named "La Tour Rose", where Moliere staged his first play "L`Etourdie" and which was later turned into a hotel with its luxurious boutique and restaurant.
The young businessman is trying to get "L`Etourdie" staged again with the original props from 16th century at the historic site which is under UNESCO`s protection.
"My greatest dream is to have `L`Etourdie` staged again at the very place it was written and staged for the first time with the audience also dressed up in 16th century costumes watching the play in candle light. I have received positive response from the Lyon School of Drama on the matter," said Dinc.
La Tour Rose, is located in the "Vieux Lyon", a part of the city which is closed to traffic.
The hotel`s famous restaurant hosted renown statesman like Jacques Chirac, Bill Clinton, Jiang Zemin, Romano Prodi and Jacques Santer in the past.
