ISTANBUL - The two pilots and a flight attendant, who were killed at the Turkish Airlines (THY) plane crash in Amsterdam, were laid to rest in Istanbul Edirnekapi cemetery.
Captain Pilot Hasan Tahsin Arisan, Co-Pilot Olgay Ozgur and Flight Attendant Ulvi Murat Eskin buried with an official funeral ceremony with wide attendance of ministers, lawmakers, local and military officials, THY executives and personnel and citizens.
The Turkish Airlines plane with flight number 1951 bound to Amsterdam from Istanbul, crashed landed a little outside the Schiphol Airport on Wednesday, killing 9 people including three crew members and wounding many others.
Five of the 9 victims were Turkish and four others were U.S. nationals.
