Italian Ambassador Reiterates Support For Turkey's E.U. Bid

KARS - Italy`s Ambassador in Ankara Carlo Marsili expressed support Friday for Turkish membership in the European Union (EU).
"As the Italian state, we know well that without Turkey EU is impossible. We extend special support for Turkey`s accession to the Union," Marsili told reporters during a visit to the eastern province of Kars.
The Italian ambassador also urged the Union to live up to promises it made to Turkey.
