Parliament Speaker Toptan Attends EU Meeting In Paris

PARIS - Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan is attending a meeting of heads of EU parliaments that began in French capital Paris on Friday.
Toptan represent Turkey at the two-day meeting of the Conference of the Speakers of European Union Parliaments.
The meeting is hosted by President of the French National Assembly Bernard Accoyer and President of the French Senate Gerard Larcher.
European parliament speakers will mainly discuss EU`s institutional future and implementation of Lisbon Treaty`s clauses by national parliaments at the meeting.
After the meeting, French President Nicolas Sarkozy will host a reception at the Elysee Palace in honor of the guest parliament chiefs.
Toptan will return to Turkey on Saturday.
