ANKARA - Turkish Civil Aviation Authority is set to enact new restrictions for liquids in hand luggage in domestic flights beginning on March 1.
New restrictions for domestic flights comply with international rules.
Domestic flight passengers will not be allowed to carry liquids, including alcoholic drinks and any kind of lotions, perfumes, shampoos, toothpaste, all kind of cosmetics and several other non-solid materials more than one liter in their carry-on baggages.
Passengers will be required to separate their toiletries --less than 100ml -- and put them in transparent plastic bags. The regulations will not limit the amount of liquids for checked luggage.
Restrictions can be relaxed for babies and patients considering their conditions, the civil aviation authority said.
