ANKARA - Turkey's transportation minister will travel to Iran on February 28 in order to attend a series of meetings.
Within the scope of his two-day visit to Iran, Turkish Transportation Minister Binali Yildirim will attend the 6th Iran-Turkey Joint Committee Meeting on Transportation, a statement from the ministry said on Thursday.
Yildirim will also participate in a tripartite ministerial meeting on operation of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) container train on Istanbul-Tehran-Islamabad route, the statement added.
