ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Turkish Central Bank was down to 69.5 billion USD as of February 20, the bank said on Thursday.
The reserves were 70.2 billion USD on February 13.
In its weekly bulletin, the Central Bank said that Turkey paid back 916.95 million USD of foreign debt between February 2 and 25. Turkey's foreign debt repayment amounted to 1.9 billion USD since the beginning of 2009.
Turkey repaid 15.7 billion USD in 2008.
