ISTANBUL - Turkish state minister for economy returned from Australia to Turkey early on Thursday.
State Minister Mehmet Simsek returned to Turkey from Australia where he held formal talks and told the A.A correspondent that he held fruitful talks during his visit.
Simsek said, "we aim to boost commercial relations with Australia. We focused on what should be done to increase trade volume between the two countries."
He had talks with Australian Minister of Trade Simon Crean and Treasurer Wayne Swan. Simsek also had meetings with Premier John Brumby of Victoria state, and Minister of Industry, Trade and Industrial Affairs Martin Pakula.
