Turkey's Plastic Exports Rise In 2008

ISTANBUL - Exports of Turkey's plastic sector, consisting of raw materials and plastic products rose by 25 percents in 2008.
Turkish Plasctic Industry Association made public Monday its report on plastic sector for 2008 with a press relase.
According to the report, Turkey's plastic exports rose by 25 percents and reached 3.7 billion USD. Plastic exports constituted the 27 percent of the exports in the chemicals sector. Turkey's plastic products rose by 13 percent and reached 3 billion USD.
Turkey's plastic sector made its exports mainly to Russia, Romania, Germany, Ukraine and Iraq.
