BARCELONA - Turkcell CEO Sureyya Ciliv said Turkey lead the world in GSM use in banking operations.
Ciliv, who is attending the "Mobile World Congress" organised in Barcelona by World GSM Association (GSMA), said it would be seen that Turkey was in a very good position in the GSM world, when GSM applications in Turkey was compared with other applications presented during the congress.
Ciliv said, Turkcell's "Mobile Signature" application was announced as a priority project by the GSMA, noting that as of March, Turkcell would begin teaching this application to 750 mobile operators globally which would later start implementing it in their own countries.
-TURKCELL FINALIST IN TWO CATEGORIES IN GLOBAL MOBILE AWARDS-
Ciliv also said that Turkcell advanced to the Global Mobile Awards finals in two categories.
Turkcell's "Mobiwar" will compete in the "Category 1a Best Mobile Game final", while Turkcell's commercial "tonla kazan" will compete in the "Category 1c Best Mobile Advertising Service" .

Turkcell Mobile Signature is a GSM service that helps users sign electronic documents and transactions with their legally-accepted digital signature using their GSM SIM card.
Using mobile signature helps easily verify users' personal identity in digital environments and allows them to make legally-binding transactions remotely, without physical attendance.
Turkcell Mobile Signature enables users' to use their digital signature which creates the same legal result with hand written signature, according to the Turkish Digital Signature Law.
