LEFKOSA - Huseyin Mehmet Buba, whose remains were found in a well in Cyprus, will be laid to rest with full military honors in Lefkosa on Wednesday.
Buba was kidnapped and killed by Greek Cypriots as he was going from the village of Dali to Lefkosa on December 26, 1963.
His remains were found by in a well in Strovolos in the Greek Cypriot side during exhumations carried out by the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus experts.
He was identified as a result of DNA test on his remains.
The Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus was formed to find remains of people who went missing during the inter-communal clashes on the island.
