ANKARA - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen will pay a three days official visit to Syria beginning on Monday.
Tuzmen will be accompanied by around 100 Turkish businessmen during his visit to Syria.
Kursad Tuzmen will meet with Syrian Prime Minister Muhammad Naji al-Utri, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdallah al-Dardari,
Minister of Economy and Trade Amir Husni Lutfi and Minister of Industry Fuad Isa Juni as part of his talks in Syria.
Tuzmen will also hold talks with Syrian businessmen. He will return back to Turkey on Wednesday, February 18.
The current trade volume between Turkey and Syria stands at 1.7 billion USD.
Since the beginning of the global financial crisis, Turkish exports to Syria increased by 50 percent.
