Unemployment In November In Turkey Up

ANKARA - The number of unemployed people in Turkey in November, 2008 went up by 645,000 compared to the same term last year and reached 2,995,000, told the Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) on Monday.
In November, unemployment among the Turkish youth was calculated as 23.9 percent.
The number of people with employment rose by 448,000 in November, 2008 when compared to the previous year and reached an amount of 21,315,000 people.
44.5 percent of all those employed in Turkey are unregistered employees.
