Rate Of Unemployment Becomes 12.3 Percent

ANKARA - Turkey's unemployment rate became 12.3 percent as of November 2008, Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) said on Monday.
Unemployment rate had been 10.1 percent in November 2007.
According to the TUIK's Household Labor Force Survey for November 2008, labor force participation rate was calculated as 48.4 percent.
Unemployment rate became 14.2 percent in urban areas and 9.3 percent in rural areas in November 2008.
